Mrs. Annie Ruth Furlow Addison, age 82 of Thomson, Ga., died Friday, November 10, 2006 at Thomson Manor Health Care Center in Thomson.
Born April 17, 1924 in Newnan, GA, she was the daughter of the late John Alvin and Beulah Mae Potts Furlow.She was a retired spinner in the cotton mill industry and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by a son, Bobby Addison and his wife, Ann, of Atlanta; a daughter, Eula Rose McLane and her husband, Joe, of Hartwell; two granddaughters, Mary Helen Addison Lutz and her husband, Jay, and Jennifer Addison Karl and her husband, Chad; two great-granddaughters, Martha Claire Karl and Gretchen Caroline Karl.She was preceded in death by her husband, John Mimms Addison, Jr. and was the last survivor of nine children.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 12, 2006, at the Nancy Hart Memorial Park with Rev. Terry Meeks officiating.
The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends from 1 until 2 PM Sunday prior to the service.
