Mrs. Ruth Kay Phillips Cromer, 76, of Campbell Ridge Road, Royston, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Brown Health & Rehab, Royston.
Born on September 24, 1943 in Elberton GA, She was the daughter of the late Gwyndel Phillips and Sara Kay Philips. Mrs. Cromer was an accountant for Ford Motor Company and was a member of the Goldmine Pentecostal Holiness Church. She also attended Reinhardt College.
Survivors include her daughter: Kim Dutton of Hartwell; three brothers: Tom Phillips (Sheila) of Inman, SC, Dan Phillips (Betty) of Athens, and Kevin Phillips of Royston; sister: Lynn Burt of Dacula, GA; two grandchildren: Tori Sanders (TJ Slack) and Payton Luna; and one great grandchild: Paisley Slack. Mrs. Cromer is preceded in death by her parents; husband: Travis Cromer; sons: Clint Cromer and Craig Cromer; grandchild: Trent Kennedy; and brother-in-law: Ted Burt.
The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon August 8 from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Other times the family will be at the home of Kim Dutton, 5885 Elberton Hwy, Hartwell, GA 30643. Everyone with be asked to practice social distancing.
Graveside services for Mrs. Ruth Cromer will be held Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
