Mrs. Ruth Todd Dickerson, age 87, of 411 Alice Drive, Anderson, SC, formerly of Anderson Hwy, Hartwell, GA, died Friday, September 7, 2007 at AnMed Health Medical Center, Anderson.

Born December 5, 1919 in Elbert County, GA, she was the widow of the late Clifton A. Dickerson, husband of 66 years, and the daughter of the late Sam E. Todd and Lois Reynolds Todd. She was a homemaker and retired from Hartwell Garment Mfg.She was a member of Hartwell First United Methodist Church.

Her survivors include:Daughter, Brenda D. Bradberry and her husband David of Anderson, SC; Brother, Roy E. Todd of Bowman, GA; Sister, Archey Todd Segars of Martin, GA; One grandchild, Denise B. Dean and one great grandchild, Matthew Todd Dean.She was preceded in death by Husband, Clifton A. Dickerson; Brothers, Sam Boyd Todd, and Jesse Joe Todd; Sisters, Lucille House, Thelma Fleming Mehr, Jewell Moore, Hytha Osborne, Newell Jordan.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2007 at 4:00 p.m. at the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, GA. Dr. Allen Stewart will officiate.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
