Mrs. Ruth Borck Glasgow, age 83, of 480 Lindy Lane, Hartwell, GA, died Thursday, August 30, 2007 at Lake Pointe Assisted Living.

Born September 6, 1923 in Birmingham, AL, she was the daughter of the late Paul Borck and Borghild Solie Borck.She was a homemaker.She was a member of the VFW- Ladies Auxiliary, Panama City, FL and former Chaplain for 15 years.She was of the Lutheran Faith.

Survivors include:Son, Marvin W. Glasgow, III of Panama City Beach, FL; Daughter, Pamela G. McGovern of Hartwell, GA; Sister, Elizabeth Riehl of San Jose, CA; Three grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive.She is preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Col. Marvin W. Glasgow, II, USAF Ret., and a brother, Paul Borck.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home, Hartwell, GA.Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham, AL.
