Obituary
Ms. Ruth Virginia Rogers Lambert, 86, of Hartwell, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2019 at her daughters home.
Born on July 8, 1932 in Thurmond NC, she was the daughter of the late Harry Weitzel Rogers and Ethel Mae Stokes Rogers.Mrs. Lambert was retired from Belk's in Jacksonville FL and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her two daughters: Linda Roberts (Tim) of Hartwell and Barbara Peeler (Jack) of Darrien GA; a brother: Richard Rogers of Deland FL; twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive.Mrs. Lambert was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Jonathan Lambert; a sister: Lynn Martin and a brother: Buck Rogers.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Memorial Garden of Prayer, Hartwell GA with Rev. Jack Peeler officiating.
The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
