Mrs. Ruth Middleton McLeskey, 82, of 73 Ellen St, Hartwell, died Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at her home.

Born August 17, 1927 in Millstone, KY, she was the daughter of the late John H. Middleton and Bessie Salyers Middleton.She retired from Stone Mfg as a seamstress.She attended Mt. Hebron Baptist Church.

She is survived by:Daughters, Betty Baskin of Williamston, SC and Carolyn Brown of Atlanta, GA; Sisters, Ruby Sexton of Chandler, TX, Willie York of Phyllis, KY, Mary Lou Brown of Sterling Heights, MI and Jeanette Coghlan of Central, SC; Three grandchildren, Mandy Braswell, Neal Baskin and Lia Santos and Two great grandchildren Addison Braswell and Leila Rose Santos also survive.She is preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, William J. "Jack" McLeskey; Three Brothers, Harrison, Owen and Berley Middleton and Three Sisters, Joyce and Betty Middleton and Jessie Hall.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church.Dr. Donald Little will officiate.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 am prior to the service at the church and after the service in the church fellowship hall.The family is at their respective homes.The family requests no flowers; Memorials may be made to Mt.
