Mrs. Ruth Ann Webster Montgomery, 80, of Hartwell, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023 at Hartwell Health & Rehab.

Born on October 31, 1942 in Butler, PA, she was the daughter of the late Lester Webster and Catherine Groves Webster. Mrs. Montgomery was a homemaker and a member of the True Life Baptist Church in Canon.

Survivors include her son: Lawrence Montgomery, Jr. and Tammy of Elberton; two daughters: Lori Trugillo and Leslie Crocker, both of Brandon, FL; one sister: Margo Perkins (Ben) of Riverview, FL; seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild also survive. Mrs. Montgomery is preceded in death by her parents; husband: Lawrence Hayward "Monty" Montgomery, Sr; one daughter: Melissa Montgomery; and three sisters: Lala Bullington, Lois Partridge, and Dale Phillips.

Graveside services for Mrs. Ruth Montgomery will be held Sunday, April 30, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Memorial Garden of Prayer with Revs. Wesley Dove and Tyler Dove officiating. At other time, the family will be at their respective homes.
