Mrs. Ruth Ann Risner Fiedler, 78, of Shady Oak Drive, Doraville GA, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Emory St. Joseph Hospital, Atlanta GA.

Born on November 27, 1940 in Hartwell GA, she was the daughter of the late Rubin Risner and Eula Rogers Risner.Mrs. Fiedler was a retired waitress and a member of the Reed Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband: Raymond G. Fiedler; a daughter: Gina Ann DiMauro-Rollins of Roswell GA; two brothers: Danny Risner and James Risner both of Hartwell and a sister: Nancy Risner Edmonds of Suwanee GA.Several nieces and nephews also survive.Mrs. Fiedler was preceded in death by her parents; a son: William James "Willard" Lambert; two brothers: Arnold Risner and Charles "Zip" Risner and a sister: Hauline Brooks.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Mr. Fred Greenway officiating.Burial will be in the Reed Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon.The family will be at their respective homes.
