Mrs. Ruth Adams Shiflet, 89 of 465 Benson Street, Hartwell, GA, died Thursday, April 9, 2009 at her home.
She is survived by:Son, Billy Shiflet of Hartwell, GA; Daughter, Mary Howard of Tiger, GA; Sister, Eula Gholston of Comer, GA; Five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, Lanier Shiflet; and Brother, Lonnie Adams.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Rev. John Silver will officiate.Burial will be in the Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Friday night from 6 – 8:00 p.m.The family is at the home.
