Mrs. Ruth B. Teasley, 90, of Hartwell, passed away Friday, August 2, 2024 at AnMed Medical Center in Anderson, SC.

Born on January 5, 1934 in Hart County GA, she was the daughter of the late Ela Brown.  Mrs. Teasley was a pharmacy technician, and a member of the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter; Sherry Vickery (Mike) of Hartwell, daughter-in-law: Sharon Teasley; five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Teasley is preceded in death by her mother; husband: Clayte E. Teasley; and two sons: Douglas Teasley and Michael Teasley.

The family will receive friends Monday, August 5, 2024 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Other times the family will be at their respective homes.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth Teasley will be held Monday, August 5, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Jason Webb officiating.  Burial will be in the Bethesda Methodist Church Cemetery.

The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
