Mrs. Ruth Schell Treadwell, age 91, formerly of Wayne Cir., Hartwell GA, died Monday, April 21, 2008 at Limestone Heritage, Gainesville GA
Born September 19, 1916 in Godfrey, GA, she was the daughter of the late Charlie W. Schell and Jimmie Newsome Schell.She was a L.P.N. and retired from Dr. L.G. Cacchioli's office, Hartwell, GA.She was a member of Flat Shoals Baptist Church.
She is survived by:Son, Dick Treadwell and his wife Pam of Clermont, GA; Three grandchildren, Monica Page, Dustin Treadwell and Emily Treadwell; Two great grandchildren, Trey Page and Camden Page.She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Loyce R. Treadwell; Sister, Loyce Schell McRee and one grandson, Richard Ross Treadwell.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Dr. Wendell Bannister will officiate.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Thursday morning from 9:30 ~ 10:30 a.m. prior to the service.The family is at their respective homes.Flowers are optional; Memorials may be made to Flat Shoals Baptist Church, 2999 Bowersville Hwy., Bowersville, GA30516.
