Salvatore "Sal" Musumeci, age 67, of Lavonia, passed away Friday, October 28, 2022 at his home.

He was born October 20, 1955, in Bronx, NY, he was the son of Dominick and Mary Ann Leto Musumeci. He was a retired master mechanic foreman, working for many years in the automotive industry. He lived his life with a focus on competence and had little tolerance for anything less. Sal loved boating, building models, and watching action movies until he could recite the script. He will be remembered as a caring husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

Sal is survived by his wife: Eleanor Tarvin Musumeci; son: Robert P. Musumeci; daughters: Niki (Alex) Cranford and Kellyerin Musumeci; brother: Robert (Debbie) Musumeci; and grandchildren: Teagan Cranford, Lucia Musumeci, and Ezra Cranford.

The memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 7, 2022 at Reynolds Lake Oconee in Greensboro, GA. Those wishing to attend are requested to RSVP to eytarvin@gmail.com . In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association (www.diabetes.org).
