Mrs. Sally Jean Pickens Milner, age 55, of Lavonia, died Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospice House.
Born March 8, 1956, in Hayward County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Bill Harvey & Vera Carter Pickens. Mrs. Milner held an Associate's Degree in Medical Records and was and administrative assistant for Luftex. She was a member of The Pointe Church of God.
She is survived by her husband: Kenneth Milner of the home; son: Christopher Milner of Waynesville, NC; sister: Shirley (Ricky) Bennett of Toccoa; niece: Tamara (Gary) Simmons of Toccoa; brother-in-law Bob Milner (Cheryl) of Chucky, TN; niece: and Lori Milner of Chucky, TN.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm. Sunday, July 31, 2011 at The Pointe Church of God with Rev. Terry Addis officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday beginning at 3:00 pm. Flowers are optional or memorials may be made to The Pointe Youth Ministries Hwy 17 S. Toccoa, GA 30577.
