Mrs. Sandra (Bradley) Burroughs, age 70, of Lavonia, died Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Hart Care Center following an extended illness.
Born August 25, 1946 in Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Harold and Ruby (Vaughn) Bradley. She was a homemaker and was a member of New Franklin Christian Church.
She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law: Rhonda & Elbert Nichols; grandchildren: JoAnna Esco & Joey, Joseph Bennett & Lisa, Christopher Norris, and Logan Norris; great-grandson: Beck V. Esco; and siblings: Pauline Jordan & Willie, Christine McGallian, Shirley Keen, Lynn Sanders, and Joe Bradley & Lula Bell. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Hal Burroughs; son: Tim Norris; and siblings: Faye Ellington and Lou Ann Carter.
The funeral service will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 19, 2017 at New Franklin Christian Church with Pastor Carl Beckham, Rev. Tommy Childress and Pastor Ernie Bryson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until the funeral hour. At other hours the family will be at the home.
