Mrs. Sara Jean Grant Bailey, 94, of Mountain Rest, SC passed away Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Ellenburg Nursing Center, Anderson, SC.
Born on April 20, 1924 in Hartwell, GA, she was the daughter of the late George Grant and Beatrice Heaton Grant.Mrs. Bailey was a homemaker.
Survivors include one daughter: Georgia Arlene Palmer of Anderson; one sister: Betty Morris of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; two grandchildren: Erin Cole and Andy Cole and one great grandchild: Lexxie Cole.Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by her husband: William Stanley Bailey; a daughter: Elaine Ray and a sister: Berthene Sanders
A private memorial service will be held at a later date by the family.
The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
