Mrs. Sara Cleveland Eaton, 88, of 120 Early Drive, Hartwell, GA, died Monday, January 19, 2009 at Hart County Hospital.
Born March 8, 1920 in Hart County, GA, she was the daughter of the late Albert Cleveland and Nellie Byrum Cleveland.She was retired from Bellcraft Mfg as an Inspector and was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.
She is survived by:Sons, Inman Eaton of Hartwell, GA and Alton Eaton of Hartwell, GA; Sister, Margie Alexander of Hartwell, GA; Five grandchildren, Alton Eaton, Jess Eaton, Mitzi Royston, Tami LeCroy and Gena Eaton; Nine great grandchildren also survives.She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Haskel Snow Eaton; Brothers, Ralph Cleveland, Hugh Dorsey Cleveland, Curt Cleveland and Walt Cleveland; Sisters, Wilma Cleveland and Rena Sanders; and two grandchildren, Cindy Eaton and Jameson Eaton.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Joe Black and Mr. Fred Greenway officiating.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Wednesday night from 7 – 9:00 p.m.The family is at the home of Alton Eaton, 122 Reed Creek School Road, Hartwell, GA.
