Mrs. Sara Ellen Walters Feltman, 80, of 344 Benson St., Hartwell, died Sunday, January 14, 2007 at her home.
Born on September 27 1926 in Anderson Co. SC, she was the daughter of the late Joe B. Walters and Elizabeth Marett Feltman.She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and homemaker.She was a chapter member of the Hart County Hospital Auxiliary, where she was active for several years.She was a member of the Madora Garden Club, Hartwell First Presbyterian Church and a member of the Morning Circle of the Women of the Church.
Survivors include her husband: John A. Feltman of the home; a son: John D. Feltman of Atlanta; a daughter: Gay F. Copeland and her husband David of Anderson SC; three grandsons: Nathan Copeland, Adam Copeland and Lawson Feltman; two sisters: Gladys Hayes and Willie Burdette both of Anderson SC.She was preceded in death by two sisters: Flora Wolfe and Mary Lou Crocker and seven brothers: Ray, Bill, Jack, Henry, Clyde, Hoyt and Clayton Walters.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 16 at 2:00 p.m. Hartwell First Presbyterian Church.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday night.The family is at the home.
