Mrs. Sara Louise White Morvant, 83, of Cokesbury Church Road, Hartwell, died Thursday, January 9.
Born on July 6, 1930 in Royston GA, she was the daughter of the late Charlie C. White and Ila Victoria Crowder White.She was a department supervisor at the US Navy Ship Yard, Philadelphia PA.
She is survived by several nieces & nephews.Mrs. Morvant was preceded in death by her husband, Eves Joseph "Hoot" Morvant; a sister, Mary Lewis and a brother, Charles White Jr.
Graveside services will be Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sardis Baptist Church.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon.\
