Sarah Frances (Brooks) Davison, age 98, of Royston, passed away Wednesday, February 12, at her home.
Born February 10, 1922 in Royston, she was the daughter of the late O. A. and Adlaide (Abbott) Brooks. Mrs. Davison was a homemaker and was a member of Middle River Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Lamar Davison; siblings: Jewell Brooks, Benji Brooks, Willie Brooks, Paul Brooks, Lillian Phillips, Ruby Voyles and Mary Elrod.
She is survived by her sons: Jerry Davison & Sandi, Jimmy Davison, Eddie Davison and Kenny Davison & Wanda; grandchildren: Jeremy Davison, Stacey Davison, Ryan Davison, Tennille Ouzts, Josh Davison and Chris Holland; great grandchildren: Dylan Ouzts, Summer McDonald, Autumn McDonald, Logan Davison, Ethan Davison, Liam Davison, Creighton Davison and Josiah Davison; and siblings: Charles Brooks and Jeanette McCurry.
The funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Middle River Baptist Church with Rev. Kenny Davison and Rev. Josh Davison officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the service time. At other times the families will be at their respective homes.
