Mrs. Sarah Hall McCollum, age 84 of 261 Fairview Avenue, Hartwell, Ga., died January 25, 2007 at Hart Care Center.

Born March 9, 1922 in Hart County, she was the daughter of the late Luke Hall and Estell Reynolds Hall. She was retired from textiles and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Goldmine Church of God, where she taught Sunday school for over forty years and was active in the ladies ministry of the church.

She was the last member of her immediate family. She is survived by her care-taker, Faye Morris of Hartwell, Ga. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, William, George, and Joe Neal Reynolds, and by sisters, Elizabeth Grizzle, Annie Sue Grizzle, Kathleen Childs and Callie Mullinax.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2007 at 4:00 p.m. from the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Rev. Darvin Slaton will officiate. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Royston, Ga. The family will be at their respective homes.
