Mr. Scott Carey Hill, 47, of 1697 Craft Road, Elberton GA, died Thursday, February 09, 2012 at his home.

Born on March 12, 1964 in Hartwell GA, he was the son of Carey H. Hill and Linda Hill Davis.He was a graduate of Hart County High School and a welder for Whitlow Electric of Elberton. He was of the Methodist Faith and a veteran of the U S Air Force.

Survivors include his father, Carey H. Hill and his wife Lynda of Bowman; his mother, Linda Hill Davis and her husband Phil of Hartwell; his wife, Karen B. Hill of the home; a son, Randy Vickery of Athens; a daughter, Jessica Vickery of the home; two brothers, Matt Hill and his wife Tammy of Winder and David Hill of Bowman.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Lavera Harper officiating.Cremation will follow the memorial service.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell where the family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Saturday.The family is at the home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to TJ & Friends Foundation, Inc. 1675 Deep Creek Road, Dewy Rose GA 30634.
