Mr. Steven Scott Sanders, 50, of Bakers Bridge Road, Royston, died Saturday, August 9, 2014 at AnMed Health Medical Center, Anderson.

Born on June 30, 1964 in Hartwell GA, he was a son of the late Billy Sanders and Imogene "Jean" Vaughn Sanders Lunceford.He was a machine operator at Fisher Products and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Tammy Stone Sanders; a daughter, Carrie Crowe of Danielsville; two sons, "Bo" Sanders of Toccoa and Wade Sanders of Royston; a sister, Melissa Spires of Hartwell; two brothers, Mike Sanders of Bowman and Ricky Sanders of Royston; five grandchildren also survive.Mr. Sanders was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Deborah Dove and two brothers, Randy Sanders and Terry Sanders.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Leon Carson and Rev. Jim Carey officiating.

The body is at Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m.The family is at the home of his sister, Melissa & Randy Spires, 2258 Mt. Olivet Road, Hartwell.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to defer Medical and Funeral expenses.
