Shannon Lee Floyd

Mr. Shannon Lee Floyd, 48, of Hartwell, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2026, at his home.

Born on January 27, 1978, in Hartwell, GA, he was the son of Tammy Turner Floyd and the late Tommy Lee Floyd. Mr. Floyd was formerly employed as a stocker for Auto Zone and at Southern Electric. Shannon loved the Atlanta Falcons, music, and thrifting.

Survivors include his mother: Tammy Floyd of Hartwell; two sons: Dylan Lee Floyd and Colin Lance Floyd, both of Hartwell; daughter: Taylor Floyd of Hartwell; and two sisters: Dawn Hardman and Krystal Floyd, both of Hartwell. Mr. Floyd is preceded in death by his father and his brother: Matthew Lance Floyd.

It was Shannon’s wishes to be cremated and a memorial service celebrating his life will be held at later date by the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to help defray funeral expenses.

The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is assisting the family with all of the arrangements.
