Mrs. Sheila Maxwell Brown, 50, of Hoot Owl Road, Bowman, passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2019.

Born on September 12, 1969 in Elberton, GA, she was the daughter of Carol Holmes Maxwell and the late Joe Mac Maxwell.Mrs. Brown was a former rural postal carrier for the US Postal Service.

Mrs. Brown was survived by her mother: Carol Maxwell; one son: Waylon Brown of Bowman; one daughter: Amanda Brown of Hartwell; two sisters: Marie Scoggins (Billy) of Bowman, Allison Kirk (Clayton) of Danielsville; sister-in-law: Tracy Dupont of Hartwell; one niece and five nephews: Aria, Xander, Logan, Carlan, Garrett, Austin and one great nephew: River.Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her father: Joe Mac Maxwell and husband: Billy Joe Brown.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Bowman, GA Other times the family will be at the home of Marie and Billy Scoggins, 3265 Hoot Owl Road, Bowman, GA 30624.

Funeral services for Mrs. Brown will be held Sunday, September 29, 2019 at 4:00 pm at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. John Todd officiating.Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
