Sheila Jane Taddeo Forrest, age 74, of Lavonia, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital.

Born November 17, 1948, in Syracuse, NY, she was the daughter of the late  John and Lily Campbell Taddeo. Before retirement she worked as Registrar for Perimeter College. She was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband: Robert Forrest; son: Barrett E. Lowery, brother: Ian Taddeo; she was preceded in death by her parents, daughter: Danielle Pattillo; and a brother: John Taddeo.

Her celebration of life service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at Poplar Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Bruce McGee officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday beginning at 1:00 p.m. At other times the family will be at the home. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers Robert Forrest, Barrett Lowery, John Lowery, Wayne Bailey, Paul Pattillo and Allen Lawhead.
