Sherrie Davis Lux, 74, of Lavonia, Georgia, went to be with the Lord and her beloved Bill on April 14, 2019; she passed away peacefully at home in her sleep.
She was the only child born to the late Bernard (Buck) Lloyd Davis and Edna Marie Brougham on April 22, 1944, in Pocomoke City, Maryland. Sherrie graduated from West Lyden High School in 1962. Sherrie married the love of her life William Everett Lux in (1987) and loved each other completely for 30 years. Sherrie & Bill were proud owners of Travel Time USA.Sherrie was predeceased by her loving husband in 2017.
Sherrie is survived by her daughter: Stacey Marie Morris (Haberkamp) & son in-law: Jeff D. Morris of Hartwell, GA; sons: David Mathew Haberkamp & daughter in-law: Sue Haberkamp of Bloomingdale, IL and Anthony Guy Pope of St. Louis, MO. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Cheyanne Taylor Morris, Jenna Nicole Morris, Madelyn Pope, and Jessica Sheeler.
Sherrie was immensely proud of her family, and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories.
Sherrie didn't want a service or viewing ceremony. Her wishes were for her three children to combine her ashes with her late husband's ashes along with their loved family pets and spread their ashes together off of a boat in Lake Hartwell.
The family kindly suggests making donations to your local humane society or the ASPCA in lieu of sending flowers.
