Mrs. Shirley Ann Adams Higgins, 84, of South Pasadena FL, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023 at her home.

Born on April 28, 1939 in Hartwell GA, she was the daughter of the late Emmie Eaves Harlow and step-father Ray Harlow. Ms. Higgins was retired from the Tampa Tribune-Advertising Department, loved Dancing and was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include her daughter: Cheryl Armstrong (Bob) of Land O Lakes FL and three grandchildren: Ashley Armstrong, Bobby Armstrong and Colin Armstrong.  Ms. Higgins was preceded in death by her parents, a sister: Frances Dye and a brother: George Adams.

The family will receive friends Saturday, October 28, 2023 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Other times the family will be at their respective homes.

Graveside services for Ms. Shirley Higgins will be Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 12:00 noon at the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
