Mrs. Shirley Rumsey McDaniel, 66, of 3040 Richmond Road, Woodstock, GA, died Monday, December 1, 2008 at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, GA.
Born April 14, 1942 in Hart County, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Cohen C. Rumsey and Effie G. Baker Rumsey.She was a homemaker and a member of Panthersville Presbyterian Church in Decatur.
She is survived by her husband; John H. McDaniel of the home; Son, Kevin McDaniel of Atlanta, GA; Daughter, April McDaniel-Cruse and her husband Keith of Woodstock, GA; Grandchildren, Emily Cruse and Sarah Cruse; Sister, Gail Baldwin and her husband Billy of Fairburn, GA; Brother in law, Wayne McDaniel of Gainesville, FL; and Nephews, Andy Baldwin and Chris McDaniel.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Baldwin and two nephews, Matthew Baldwin and Amy Baldwin.
Graveside Services will be held on Friday, December 5, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. at Reed Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.Rev. Sam Dulaney will officiate.
The family will receive friends after the service in the church.The family is at their respective homes.
