Mrs. Shirley Stanley Payne, 89, of Stillwood Drive, Hartwell, GA, died Monday, April 19, 2010 at Hart County Hospital.

Born June 18, 1920 in Dacula, GA, she was the daughter of the late Phillip Lamar "Burl" Stanley and Willie Mae Rawlins Stanley.She was a Homemaker; a member of Hartwell First Baptist Church and former member of Killian Hill Baptist Church in Lilburn.She was an avid Bowler and Gardener; Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and a Friend to all; her sweet smile will be missed by all that knew her.

She is survived by:Daughters, Janet Oglesby and her husband Fort of Hartwell, GA and Kathy Campbell and her her husband Bruce of Statesville, NC; Five grandchildren, Phillip Hall, Samuel Hall, Julie Fulbright, Gregory Oglesby and Reese Oglesby; Eight grandchildren, Savannah Hall, Ryann Hall, Samuel Hall, Payne Oglesby, Tucker Oglesby & Lawson, Sam and Sydney Fulbright.She is preceded in death by Parents; Husband, Lawson Tate Payne, Brothers, Louie W. Stanley and Tyson Stanley and a Sister, Erma Cotter.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 21, 20109 at Tom Wages Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, GA.Dr. Steve Williams and Rev. Carter Tucker will officiate.Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Dacula, GA.

The family will receive friends at Strickland Funeral Home – Hartwell Chapel on Tuesday from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. On Wednesday, the family will receive friends at Tom Wages Funeral Home from 1:00 – 2:00 pm prior to the service.The family is at their respective homes.
