Mrs. Shirley Norris White, 76, of Will Bailey Road, Hartwell, died Thursday, August 14, 2014 at her home.

Born on June 15, 1938, in Lavonia, GA, she was the daughter of the late Robert Felton Norris and Omie Gillespie Norris.She was a manager and sales clerk at Walmart and was a member of Mt. Olivet Church of God.

Survivors include one son: Randy White of Hartwell; one daughter: Kimberly Williford of Sandersville; one sister: Essie Mae Stone of Central, SC; six grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband: Rev. James Herman White; one daughter: Kathy Cleveland; two sisters: Mary Neil Cox and Hazel Stone and three brothers: Willie Norris, Melvin Norris and Junior Norris.

Funeral services will be Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Ben Lumley and Rev. Wesley Allen officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Olivet Church of God Cemetery.

The body is at Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.The family is at the home.
