Mr. Sida "Junior" Campbell Jr., age 67, of 262 Leard St., Hartwell, Ga., died Sunday, September 24, at Hart Co. Hospital.
Born May 8, 1939 in Hart County, GA; he was the son of the late Sida D. Campbell, Sr. and Rebecca Sudberry Campbell.He was formerly employed at Monroe Auto Equipment Company and Savannah Valley Egg Co.He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by Brothers: Tommy Campbell of Hartwell, George Campbell of Clarkesville, James Campbell of Royston, Billy Ray Campbell and Frank Campbell of Hartwell. Sisters: Maybell Vickery, Dot Corn, Brenda Carey, Shirley Freeman all of Hartwell.He is preceded in death by brother: William Campbell and sister: Betty Jo Lee.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday September 26, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Rev. Johnny Stowe will officiate.Burial will follow in the Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral home where the family will receive friends Monday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.The family is at the home of Dot Corn, 96 Lanier St., Hartwell.
