Mrs. Sophie Hoffman LeBarron, 86, of Parkdale Drive, Hartwell, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016 at her home.
Born on July 31, 1929 in Punitz Austria, she was the daughter of the late John and Thersia Hoffman.Mrs. LeBarron was a homemaker, of the Catholic Faith and attended the Cokesbury United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her two sons: John LeBarron and his wife Carol of Harlem GA and James "Jim" LeBarron and his wife Jody of Hartwell; two daughters: Cindy L. Harlow of Hartwell and Lorraine LeBarron of Bullhead City AZ; a sister: Stella Crandell of Saratoga Springs NY; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren also survive.Mrs. LeBarron was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Elwin W. LeBarron and two sisters: Frieda Fitzgerald and Ann Sorrel.
Graveside services will be Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Georgia National Cemetery, Canton GA.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.The family is at the home.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
