Mr. William Stanley Bridges, 68, of Elberton, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2025.

Born on December 8, 1956 in Elberton GA, he was the son of the late Jimmy Bridges and Margaret Kelley Bridges.  Mr. Bridges was retired from South Ridge Granite Quarry.

Survivors include a son: Chad Bridges of Belton SC; a daughter: Tara Bridges of Anderson SC; a sister: Helen Bridges of Elberton; eight grandchildren: Jada Bridges, Karmyn Harper, Elias Harper, Cashlyn Hunter, Rylan Tucker, Callie Bridges, Carson Bridges and Chad Bridges Jr; niece: Megan Bridges.

Mr. Bridges wished to be cremated and no services are planned at this time.

The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
