Obituary
Mr. Stanley Hoyt "Stan"Walters, 75, of Life Style Lane, Anderson, SC died Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.
Born on July 19, 1939 in Hartwell, GA, he was the son of the late Johnny Walters and Eula Ayers Walters Johnson.He served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War, where retired as a Senior Master Sergeant and also retired from the US Government as an industrial hygienist with the US Navy.
Survivors include his wife: Doris Westbrook Walters; two sons: Daniel Walters of Gladstone, ND and Christopher Walters of Weston, WV; five grandchildren: Joel Walters, Leah Knight, Seth Walters, Erin Walters, and Jordan Walters; two sisters: Frances Sokol of Hartwell, and Margaret Williamson of Martin, GA.
Graveside services will be held Friday, October 24, at 11:00 am at the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
