Mrs. Statia Burnett Fisher, age 84 of 952 Ridge Road, Hartwell, Ga., widow of W.H. "Bill" Fisher, died December 26 at Cobb Memorial Hospital, Royston GA
Born July 19, 1922 in Spartanburg, S.C. She was the daughter of the late Belton C. Burnett and Myrtle Wylie Burnett. She was retired from Arrow Shirt Company, was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church and the Ladies 1 Sunday School Class.
She is survived by: son, Charles Donald Fisher of Kansas, grandchildren, Gregory Fisher and Michael Fisher. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Franklin Eugene Fisher, and by brothers, Donald Burnett and Junior Burnett
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 29, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Rev. Terry Meeks will officiate. Burial will be at Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.Memorials may be made to Cornerstone Baptist Church, 1543 Anderson Highway, Hartwell, Ga. 30643
