Stephen L. Davis, age 59 of Columbus, NE, died Sunday, May 19, 2019 in Omaha, NE.
Stephen L. Davis was born January 13, 1960 in Burnettsville, Indiana to
the late Harry and Vera Jean (Buis) Davis. He grew up in Hartwell, Georgia and graduated from Hart County High School in Hartwell. On November 17, 1984 Steve was united in marriage to Ramona Rhein in Hartwell. They later moved to Columbus where he worked at Appleton, Behlen and Becton-Dickinson.He loved the Georgia Bulldogs, Atlanta Braves, his family, fishing and bowling.
He is survived by his wife: Ramona Davis of Columbus, NE; his daughter: Kandra (Nathan) Mowrey of St. Edward, NE; three sons: Kyle (Karen) Davis of Gretna, NE, Mark Davis of Omaha, NE, and Stephen Davis of Columbus, NE; his sister Jody (Bobby) Williams of Bowersville, GA; one brother: Dave(Deb) Davis; and six grandchildren. Mr. Davis was preceded is death by his parents and one brother: Mark Davis.
Funeral services are 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at the McKown Funeral Home. Visitation is Wednesday morning 9:00 a.m. until service time at McKown Funeral Home, Columbus, NE. Interment will be in the Columbus Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, and plants memorials are suggested to be determined at a later date.
