Obituary
Mr. Stephen R. Goroly, 83, of 46 Majestic Shores Tr. Hartwell, GA, died Thursday, January 8, 2009 at Hartwell Health Care Center.
Born August 5, 1925 in Czechoslovakia, he was the son of the late John and Anne Goroly.He was retired from ATT as a lineman.He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church of Hartwell and served in the Korean War as a U.S. Marine Sergeant and was a Boxer.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Carrado Goroly of the home; Sons, Stephen Goroly of Valley Stream, NY and John Goroly of Lynbrook, NY; Stepsons, John Randazzo of KY and Paul Randazzo of NY; Grandchild, Jenny Goroly and two step grandchildren, Luke Randazzzo and Mark Randazzo He is preceded in death by Parents and a Sister, Helen Gallagher.
Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.Father Terence Kane will officiate.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Friday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.The family is at the home.Family requests no flowers; Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 1009 Benson Street, Hartwell, GA30643.
