Thomas Steve Hamilton, age 59, of Maysville, died Wednesday, December 9, 2015 in Haywood County, North Carolina.
Born January 22, 1956 in Augusta, he was the son of Shirley (Summerville) Hamilton and the late Thomas Newton Hamilton. He was a route sales and service representative for Slush Puppie. He was a veteran of the US Army, where he served in Germany during the Vietnam War. Mr. Hamilton was of the Church of Christ faith.
He is survived by his mother: Shirley Hamilton of Lavonia; brothers and sisters-in-law: Andy and Christy Hamilton of Maysville and Paul and Elizabeth Hamilton of Commerce.
The funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 12, 2015 at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with Dr. Joe Renfro officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens – North. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. At other hours the family will be at the home of his mother.
