Obituary
Mr. Steve William Risner, 58, of 811 Chandler's Ferry Road, Hartwell, died Sunday, December 25, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospice House in Athens.
Born on July 4, 1953 in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late Howard Risner and Tina Holcomb Risner.
Survivors include one son: Josh Risner of Hartwell; one daughter: April Williams and her husband, Jason, of Hartwell; two brothers: Michael Risner and Danny Allen both of Hartwell; and three grandchildren: Alexis Williams, Blade Williams, and Jasmine Williams.He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, D'Etta Baker Risner; and one sister, Janice Tyner.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Johnny Stowe officiating.Burial will follow in the Reed Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell where the family will receive friends from 10:00am -12:00N Wednesday.The family is at the home.
