Obituary
Mr. Steve Schyck, 97, of Walnut Street, Hartwell, died, June 28, 2015 at AnMed Health Medical Center, Anderson, SC.
Born on February 4, 1918, in Detroit, MI, he was the son of late Michael Schyck and Julia Gulyk Schyck.Mr. Schyck retired as a tool and dye maker working with both General Motors and Ford Motor Company. He also was a US Army Veteran.
Survivors include two sons: Stephen Schyck and his wife Patricia of Hartwell and Douglas Schyck and his wife Susan of Tuscon, AZ; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters: Ann Schyck Straka and Marie Schyck Glane both of Detroit, MI.Mr. Schyck was preceded in death by his wife Margery Foster Schyck and one son: Paul Schyck.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.Memorials may be made Leukemia-Lymphoma Society, 3715 Northside Pkwy-Building 400, Northcreek, Suite 300,Atlanta, GA 30327.
