Obituary
Mr. Steven Lamar Sanders, 35, of 176 Floyd St, Royston, died Friday, February 19 at his home.
Born on October 2, 1974 in Franklin Co. GA, he was the son of Diane Scarboro Sanders and the late Randy Lamar Sanders.He was a member of the Goldmine Church of God.
Survivors include his mother, Diane S. Sanders of Royston; wife, Donna Harris Sanders of Royston, two sons, Justin Sanders of Royston and Austin Sanders of Charleston SC; two daughters, Tori Sanders of Royston and Heather Sanders of Charleston SC; two step-sons, Adam Brown and Dustin Brown both of Anderson SC; a brother, Billy Sanders of Hartwell; a grandfather, Lanier Lunceford of Elberton and a step grandchild also survives.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 23 at 4:00 p.m. at the Goldmine Church of God with Rev. Phillip Patterson and Rev. Grant Myerholtz officiating.Burial will be in the Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday night.The family is at the home of Bobby and Wanda Little, 38 Little Rd, Royston.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to defray funeral expenses.
