Mrs. Sue Maxwell Hill, 90, of Harper Drive, Hartwell, passed away Friday, October 21, 2016 at AnMed Health Medical Center, Anderson SC

Born in Hartwell GA, she was the daughter of the Chandler Maxwell and Mary Frances "Fannie" Duncan Maxwell.Mrs. Hill was a seamstress at Bellcraft Mfg. and a cook at Heritage Inn Nursing Home.She was a member of the Mt. Olivet Church of God.

Survivors include her two sons: Sidney Melvin (Deborah) Hill and David Hill all of Hartwell. Mrs. Hill considered all her great grandchildren and great great grandchildren as grandchildren giving her a total of twenty nine.She was preceded in death by her husband: Sidney Hill; a son: Bobby Ray Hill; a daughter: Barbara Sue Hill Greenway; a brother: Harvey Maxwell and five sisters: Florene, Corene and Edna Maxwell, Carrie Lewis and Rosie Moore.

Funeral services will be Monday, October 24, 2016 at 11:00 in the Chapel of the Strickland funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Chris Page officiating.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The body is at the Strickland funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening.The family is at the home of Melvin and Deborah Hill, 2400 Woodland Way, Dewy Rose GA.

The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
