Susan Morgan, age 66, of Bowersville, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Brown Health & Rehabilitation. Born on November 10, 1958, in Anderson, SC, she was the beloved daughter of the late Wilton "Punk" and Jackie Moorhead Morgan.

Susan graduated from Hart County High School with the Class of 1976. She was a woman of devout faith, dedicating much of her time to praying for her family. She was a member of Lavonia United Methodist Church. Susan was also known for her love of reading, which was a cherished pastime throughout her life.

She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Jerry Riggins, and her brother and sister-in-law, David and Ashley Morgan. Her legacy continues through her nieces and nephews: Andy Riggins, Matthew Riggins, Katie and Tony Ferguson, John Riggins, Aaron and Kristin Morgan, Benjamin and Gracie Morgan, Mary Clare and Grant Roberts, Abigail and Nathan Dallas, Stephen Morgan, Hope and Jeremiah Stockton, Nancy Day Morgan, Patrick Morgan, Jonas Morgan, and Joelle Morgan.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Mike Smith officiating. Susan will be laid to rest in Nancy Hart Memorial Park. The pallbearers will be her nephews: Aaron Morgan, Benjamin Morgan, Jonas Morgan, Patrick Morgan, Stephen Morgan, John Riggins, and Matthew Riggins. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
