Robert Swain Roberson, Jr., age 70, of Lavonia, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025 at his home. He was born July 31, 1954, in Franklin County, the son of the late Robert Swain Roberson, Sr. and Roselle Harris Roberson.

Swain was a graduate of Franklin County High School. With a lifelong passion for cars, he owned and operated Roberson Mufflers for 42 years, becoming a well-known and respected business owner in the community. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church of Lavonia. Swain was a loving husband, a devoted father, and a caring grandfather. He was always quick to lend a hand to those in need.

Swain is survived by a loving family who will forever hold his memory in their hearts: his wife, Connie Fulghum Roberson; son & daughter-in-law, Shane & Penny Roberson; daughter & son-in-law, Melissa & Ray Bennett; grandchildren, Caitlin Roberson, Erin Roberson, Noah Roberson, Tyler Bennett, and Kelsey Bennett; and siblings, Tim Roberson and Sylvia McLeod.

The memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 1, 2025 at the funeral home chapel. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:30 p.m. Swain was cremated in accordance with his request.
