Mr. Ted Larry Bowers, 55 of 710 Beacon Light Rd, Hartwell, died Saturday, December 18, 2010 at his son's home.
Born on November 7, 1955 in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late Loyd L. Bowers and Minnie Welborn Bowers. He was the owner/operator of Ted L. Bowers Construction and a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons: Tyler Bowers and April of Hartwell, and Kyle Bowers of Lavonia; three brothers: Jim Bowers of Hartwell, Sammy Bowers of Hartwell, Wayne Bowers of Hartwell; one sister: Linda Parham of Hartwell; and two grandchildren: Kaydence Bowers and Emily Bowers.Mr. Bowers was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers: Maylon Bowers and Stanley Bowers.
Funeral services will be Monday, December 20, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Black and Mr. Fred Greenway officiating. Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday night.The family is at their respective homes.
