Obituary
Mr. Theodor McKean "Ted" Hinkel, 90, of Friendship Road, Hartwell, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Brown Health & Rehab, Royston, GA.
Born on March 13, 1929 in Youngstown OH, he was the son of the late Edgar Adam Hinkel and Wilda Harl Hinkel.Mr. Hinkel retired from Kimball Electronics as a technician and attended the Hartwell Mennonite Church and The Way Church.
Survivors include one son: Michael Hinkel (Regina) of Evansville IN; one daughter: Chris Delach (Larry) of Morris IL; one sister: Velma "Terri" Marsden; three grandchildren: Isaac Hinkel, Jeremiah Hinkel and Courtney Delach; two great-grandchildren: Kaylei Hinkel and Madyson Hinkel; his special friend: Pauline Segars of Carnesville GA and his best friends: Gordon & Teresa Degrave of Hartwell.
The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home.Other times the family will be at their respective homes.
Funeral services for Mr. Ted Hinkel will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Burial will be in the Memorial Garden of Prayer
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Affinis Hospice, 2565 Thompson Bridge Road, Suite 201, Gainesville GA 30501.
The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
