Mrs. Teresa Ann Chitwood Hiland, 44, of 2350 County Farm Road, Jefferson, GA, died Thursday, August 24, 2006 at Doctor's Hospital in Augusta, GA.
Born April 10, 1962 in Gainesville, GA, she was the daughter of the late Virgil Chitwood.She was employed with the Jackson County Tax Assessors Office and she attended Union Baptist Church in Winder, GA.
Her survivors include: Mother, Geraldine Austin of Hartwell, GA; Husband, A. Lamar Hiland of Jefferson, GA; Son, John Crocker, Jr. and his wife Whitney of Bowersville, GA; Daughter, Brandi Evans and her husband Jeffery of Hartwell, GA; Two stepdaughters, Nicki Hiland of Jefferson, GA and Whitney Hiland of Braselton, GA; Brothers, Danny Chitwood of Hartwell, GA and Doug Chitwood of Royston, GA; Three half sisters, Regina Alexander of Hartwell, GA,Marcella Brown of Anderson, SC and Dannis Cox of Anderson, SC; Two grandchildren, Jaylen Evans and Brycen Evans.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, August 27, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, GA.Rev. Rayford White will officiate.Burial will be in the Mt. Olivet Church of God Cemetery.
The body is at Strickland Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Saturday night from 6 to 8:00 p.m.The family is at the home of Brandi & Jeffery Evans, 452 McCurry Road, Hartwell, GA.
