Ms. Teresa Ann Blackmon "Terri" Brown, 57, of Ellen Street, Hartwell, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019 at her home.

Born on July 7, 1961 in Hartwell GA, she was the daughter of Hazel Bowers Cauffman and the late Jimmy Blackmon.Terri was a former Manager and Cook at Dad's Restaurant.

Terri is survived by her mother: Hazel Cauffman of Hartwell; a step-mother: Janie Sanders Blackmon of Canon; a daughter: Teri E. Luther of Camden SC; a son: Daniel Brown of Canon; three sisters: Pam Scott (Pete) of Canon, Jamie Boyer (Mike) of Franklin Springs GA and Rhonda Gordon (Ken) of Canon; a brother: Jay Blackmon of Canon; two grandchildren: Waylon Luther and Bodie Luther; six nephews, three nieces and 2 great-nephews also survive.Terri was preceded in death by her father; a step-father: Chuck Cauffman; a brother: Randall Schultz and grandparents that helped raise her: James & Elsie Blackmon.

A gathering to celebrate Terri's life will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the Family Life Center of the Cornerstone Baptist Church, Hartwell.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hart County Friends of the Library, 150 Benson Street, Hartwell GA 30643.
