Mrs. Terri Ann "Red" Gentry Gaines, 52, of 385 Uly White Road, Hartwell, died Friday, March 1 at Landmark Hospital, Athens.
Born on February 4, 1961 in Atlanta GA, she was the daughter of the late Roy Gentry and Gloria Elizabeth Thornton Gentry.She was a sales associate at Home Depot.
Survivors include two daughters: Regina Gaines of Hartwell and Debbie Jo Gaines of Winder GA; two sons: Ricky Gaines of Hartwell and Richard Allen Gaines Jr. of Bethlehem GA; two sisters: Linda Austin of Buford GA and Wanda Gilchrist of Carnesville; five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren also survive.She was preceded in death by her parents and husband: Richard Allen Gaines Sr.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 5 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Burial will be in the Bethesda United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday night.The family is at the home.
