Terry Douglas Cobb, 68, of Lavonia, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Stephens County Hospital
Born July 27, 1950, in Pensacola, FL, he was the son of the late T.J and Faye (Cawthon) Burdette. He was a self-employed contractor and painter and was a member of Price Chapel Church of God.
He is survived by his wife: Deborah (Hix) Cobb; children: Beth Ruff, Chris Cobb and Chad & Buffy Cobb; grandchildren: Michael Ruff, Cory Taylor, Brandon Taylor, Justin Wilson, Kristen Anderson, Bryson Cobb, Kelsie Cobb, Amy Harris, Jennifer Shirley; great grandchildren: Malachi Shirley Bentley Wilson, Matthew Wilson, Hannah Wilson, Ashley Wilson, Joseph Wilson, Annisten Childs, Addison Childs, Landon Harris, Mason Harris, Madison Harris and Brunleigh Harris; siblings: Dan Cobb, Brenda White Smith, Jeanette Isom, Jackie Williams and Ancel Burdette.
Mr. Cobb will be cremated according to his request. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 30, 2018 at the Price Chapel Church of God. The family will receive friends at the church after the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Paul Anderson Youth Home (www.payh.org) or Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Egleston Hospital (www.choa.org).
